Council Bluffs Airport

The Council Bluffs Airport Expansion has crossed another huge milestone with the complete opening of runway 18/36. The runway is now 5500 feet long! Runway 14/32 is now CLOSED. The ILS for runway 18/36 is not installed and is subject to funding from the FAA, before installation.

Construction on the new terminal is scheduled to start this spring as well as 14 additional t-hangers, to handle the increased demand.

As Council Bluffs continues to grow and attract new businesses and industries one of the major questions asked concerns easy access. The airport authority works to provide that easy access.
